Abstract
Several methods have been proposed within the study of economical sciences and published in the specialized literature on the attribution of monetary rate to the environment as an auxiliary instrument for the social and environmental management of natural resources. The costs of travel, hedonic prices and contingent valorization methods are enhanced. However, it is no small task associating economic rate to environments assets since a wide range of multi-disciplinary concepts is involved. Further, important aspects involved in the valorization of the environment, such as the non-reversibility of change and the flexibility of decision taking, are practically deemed negligible in most research that proposes to establish an economical value to the environment. However, the totality of the valorization issue is not tackled. Current research presents a methodology so that two of the neglected aspects by current techniques may be taken into account with the elimination of some of their deficiencies. One contribution consists of a format to intrinsically adopt the value of non-reversibility of the action within the calculation of the value of natural resources.
