Abstract
A report on room temperature low voltage electroluminescence in amorphous carbon nitride thin films was presented. A stable emission peaked around 475 nm was observed at room temperature and the emission intensity increased with the current density. The luminance was found to be about 3 mCd/m2 for an applied volatge of 14 V.
