Tachigali amarumayu, a new species of caesalpinioid legume restricted to terra firme forests in southwestern Amazonia, is described, illustrated, and compared with the morphologically similar species T. prancei, T. rugosa, and T. setifera. © 2018, The New York Botanical Garden.
