Abstract
The quality of electrical energy for connection to the network is sought; as a result, various phenomena that affect the quality of energy occur, identifying the inverter and converter as the equipment responsible for generating these phenomena. Therefore, determining the optimal level of penetration for photovoltaic panels is a vital issue in terms of preventing power quality problems. The methodology is based on the dependence of the total harmonic distortion on the current, solar irradiation, inverter output current, RMS voltage for the grid connection point, and active and non-active power registers. These parameters were calculated using a programming and loop reference frame, simulated with ETAP 16.0.0 software. The results obtained met the criteria established with the energy quality standards for connection to the grid, related to the work of the MPPT converter for each photovoltaic module and the uncertainty of the irradiance. Therefore, low levels of PF can be reduced by increasing the number of modules photovoltaic, since the inverter used is oversized, that is, the system operating with PF capacitive, allowing injection of reactive power in the network.

I. INTRODUCTION This research aims to carry out the operational evaluation with an optimal design for the good use of the system and implement it using a 3 kW system, analyzing harmonic problems at the point of interconnection based on international standards IEEE-1159-2009, IEEE 519 -2014 and IEC 61000-3-2-2009 [2]. This within the framework of the applied research and technological development project winner of the competitive funds financed by the FONDECYT-World Bank, with Contract No. 180-2018-FONDECYT-BM-IADT-AV, with the title: “Design and Validation of the Operation and Monitoring of Photovoltaic Systems Connected to the Network (SFCRs) in Extreme Conditions of the Altiplano over 3800 masl ”. The expected research results will be used as criteria for the use and evaluation of these systems in the city of Juliaca. The impact caused by the photovoltaic insertion in the systems distribution of electricity in the world and South America [1], especially in brazil about everything after the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) published This work received financial support from the National Fund for Scientific, Technological and Technological Innovation Development (FONDECYT) through the project with contract N ° 180-2018-FONDECYT-BM-IADT-AV.
