Abstract
Human talent allows organizations to reach their full potential, thereby building the foundations for the economic and social development of a nation. In Latin America, the conditions of labor informality originate scenarios of insecurity and unhealthiness for the vast majority of workers. The objective of this work is to describe the perception of job security in public organizations in Peru. The research sought the perception of workers and managers of the 34 public companies in Peru. The results showed that these companies have high levels of compliance with the Annual Plan for Safety and Health at work, however, there are basic aspects that are neglected and therefore, the safety of employees is put at risk. It is concluded that the reduction of physical and human capital costs is only possible with the commitment of organizations to comply with the established regulations on security.
