Abstract
A bibliometric study was carried out to explore the knowledge field of territorial planning and urban health processes. For this study, a search of published articles in Scopus was carried out. The search generated 175 articles, to which indicators of quantity, quality and structure were calculated. This study is relevant in today global context, where political agendas have identified major challenges for the planet’s sustainability, by understanding the imbrication of the health-disease processes and the dynamics of urban development binomial. Hence, the main results of this study reveal emerging themes in the knowledge field related to health promotion, urban resilience and built environment, which marks a clear work path not only for the academic and scientific community, but also for the establishment of government policies from which good practices of sustainable development can be promoted.
