Abstract
Using a specifically designed functionalized organophosphonic acid, 5-pyrimidyl phosphonic acid (pyrimidyl = C4H4N 2), the synthesis and characterization of six coordination polymers, including a two-dimensional bimetallic, Cu/Ag, polymer are reported. © The Royal Society of Chemistry.
