Abstract
The generation of random earth stations positions was always an useful tool in probabilistic studies of interference, capacity, coverage, sensibility among others. This position generations is usually difficult for the realistic conditions where, the earth geometry and the beam specifications are considered. In this work, an analytical algorithm for the generation of uniformly random positions vectors for earth stations within the -3dB elliptical beams, is development.
