Some considerations on knowledge management at the orgazational level are made. The main goals of intranet are established and defined as well as its place in the conversion of data into knowledge starting from a "data-information-knowledge" model. The intranet is analyzed, as an adaptable complex system that is constantly moving according to the organizational interests. It is impossible to talk about knowldege management without taking into consideration the integration of exogenous and endogenous information of organizational interessrt for the increase of enterprenurial performance. A set of useful questions is provided to know wether Intranet meets the needs related to information management in the search for organizational knowledge.
