Abstract
This paper presents an analysis and experimental implementation of Indirect Field Oriented Control for a three-phase squirrel-cage induction motor. MATLAB/Simulink environment was used to perform simulations of the mathematical model and control algorithm. Once the controller proper behaviour was verified, the DS1104 controller board from dSPACE platform was used to carry out real-time experiments and final implementation. Finally, the results obtained show that IFOC controller has a satisfactory response.
