Abstract
The VRFT (Virtual Reference Feedback Tuning) is a model-free method for the design of feedback controllers in a linear setting. In practical applications, two main critical issues are the undermodeling of the controller structure and the measurement noise. This paper proposes an optimized experimental protocol, in order to better cope with these two critical points, without giving up on the main properties of the methodology. ©2010 IEEE.
