The present investigation had the objective of demonstrating the effects of the integral workshop on the functionality of the elderly person. It was a quasi-experimental study with 30 subjects for both the experimental and control group. Prior to the ethical considerations, the workshop and the measurements were applied. Significant differences were found between the groups, during the post-test and the month of the post-test in: the functionality, the instrumental activities and the activities of daily life (p <0.05). It is concluded that the integral workshop improved the daily and functional life of the elderly.
