The agriculture practiced ancestral in platforms was the main source of income of the population and guarantee of their food security, the same that is currently being abandoned. The present work evaluates in two agricultural communities of the Colca and Cotahuasi valleys, the degree of education and its relationship in the adoption of agricultural technologies and aspects of family health. The data was collected through a survey, focus group and semi-structured interviews applied to 30 families from each community, and to personnel from educational institutions, considering the data related to the degree of education for the study. The Chi-square statistical test and content analysis were applied to carry out the social diagnosis, finding that the cultural level of the parents affects the adoption of agricultural technologies and the food security of the children, as well as facilitates the adoption of new technologies for the agricultural practice.
