Abstract
In this paper, a technological solution that optimizes the time of outpatient medical care with home visits using a routing technique and medical appointment scheduling. The solution provides assignments of outpatient medical consultations that are notified in real time to the closest health specialists in order to arrange a home health visit. In Peru, the waiting time for medical attention is 82 minutes and the average time for scheduling the appointment is 80.04 minutes in clinics or private health centers. This delay causes many patients to seek self-medication or use traditional medicine or simply do not attend to treat their medical emergency. The proposal uses the technique of using the K-means algorithm and the Ant Colony System algorithm and it has 3 components: Physical Architecture, Cloud Services and Technologies, languages and frameworks. The validation was carried out with a sample of 10 specialist physicians in Lima, Peru. Preliminary results allowed the technique used to reduce the waiting time to 70.85% and the appointment scheduling time was reduced by 95.55%. These percentages are calculated in reference to the data evaluated in 2020 by the INEI.
