Abstract
The Peruvian government aims to improve the attention to citizens, in its territory; For this reason it created participation mechanisms for educational actors (local authorities, managers, teachers, students and parents) in order to listen to and more directly address the requirements of this sector. In this sense, the research, aimed to analyze and describe the participation of the actors involved in decentralized educational management under a territorial approach, the method used was documentary and / or bibliographic analysis, a descriptive and interpretive process based on the careful search of literature and metadata, the The result shows that the participation of the actors is vital, within the framework of the territorial approach, to achieve optimal decentralized management in the education sector. It was concluded that there is a need to establish a decentralized management route in the education sector, as well as the creation of intersectoral and intergovernmental support mechanisms based on the territorial approach to achieve an efficient quality of education throughout the national territory.
