Abstract
This study aims to improve a prototype solar collector via hot air that had already been used in San Juan de Tarucani, Arequipa; it was moved to Callao, Peru, to perform new tests at different radiation conditions, latitude, altitude, temperature, and humidity. The methodology followed was to perform tests during the month of March, 2019, at 15° and 45° inclination of the collector with respect to the flat surface of the base and measuring temperatures in the air inlet of the collector and in the outlet that enters the 'shed.' The results determined that the angle change optimizes the heat input, the relation between radiation and temperature, and the day/night variation.
