Abstract
During these times, productivity in the furniture stores of Villa el Salvador, especially in the MYPEs, has taken on vital importance, thus compromising the growth of these companies in the market. Productivity is exposed since unproductive times are generated by activities that do not add value to the final product. The present study carried out in a company located in the industrial park of Villa El Salvador, seeks to identify the reasons and root causes of the low productivity that the company under study presents. Based on the literature review, a model has been proposed that uses tools that solve the identified reasons: System Layout Planning (SLP), Work Methods (WM) and 5S's. The SLP tool is carried out with the objective of correctly redistributing the work plant, with SW the processes and activities carried out by the operators are improved, culminating with 5S to improve the work environment that allows increasing productivity in the company under study.
