Abstract
This article describes the experience and lessons learned in the “Digital Literacy” course development aimed at older adults in presential and virtual modalities. Course whose objective is to develop digital skills such as computer use, office applications and the Internet, to integrate participants into the digital society. In order to achieve the objective, appropriate adult teaching strategies such as task-based teaching, shared teaching and digital exposure were used. To collect the participants perception in relation to the achievements, a survey was applied. The results reveal that the course participants are satisfied with the program and that they perceive that they have developed technological skills, updated their knowledge and increased their interest in continuing to learn.
