Abstract
The results of this study confirm the presence of both guanabana and cherimoya in ancient Peru. Our evidence consists of linguistic data and botanical remains of plants that were found in archaeological contexts, as well as ceramic phytomorphic representations of the fruits. © 2004 by The New York Botanical Garden Press, Bronx, NY 10458-5126 U.S.A.
