Abstract
The poultry sector, with an important participation in the food industry worldwide, presents a positive behavior in recent years, it is estimated that production will reach 128,377 million tons by 2020. This research was developed with the objective of carrying out a systematic review of the scientific literature on the application of technologies oriented to animal welfare for the production of chicken meat, published in the last two decades; The indexed digital databases, CAPES, PubMed, SciELO, Scopus and Google Scholar, were reviewed in English and Portuguese. As a result of the research, it was found that the main technologies applied to solve the problems of production systems, animal welfare, thermal stress and air conditioning systems were Wireless Sensor Network, Internet of Things, Multiple Detection System, Ventilation Systems Positive and Negative and MQTT Telemetry Protocol.
