Abstract
An epidermoid cyst is a rare, benign, intra-testicular disorder, usually found in young adults and predominantly unilateral. It has typical ultrasound characteristics. There are no increases in tumour marker values, and the treatment currently used is surgical enucleation. A frozen biopsy is taken for a subsequent definitive histopathological study. We present the case of an 18 year-old male, with a tumour in the right testicle, with negative tumour markers. In the ultrasound study, characteristic lesions were observed in both testicles. Conservative testicular treatment was performed with enucleation of the lesions, a frozen biopsy and subsequent definitive histopathological study. © 2011 ACTEDI. Published by Elsevier España, S.L.
