Abstract
The present research determined that the training programs in telematic engineering have an impact on the professional performance of the Officers in the Telematics Center of the Army of Peru (CETELE). The objective is to explain that the contents of the training program influence the acquisition of knowledge, as well as to identify that the relevant instructional techniques contribute to the development of skills and that the evaluation techniques selected and applied on the right time improve attitudes for professional performance. The theoretical reference is based on the concept of "Impact Evaluation of Training Programs" of Isaza (2001), who argues that the application of instructional techniques facilitate the achievement of learning and define their final objectives in terms of job performance with qualitative approach. The study subjects correspond to adult STAFF, Army Communications Weapon Officers. The results were evaluated with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test / Hypothesis Test / Criterion of the p-value, obtaining a p value = 0.039 which determined that the study variable is NOT parametric, so the Mann-Whitney U test statistic was used to evaluate the demisions of the study variables. In this way, the results showed that there are positive effects on professional performance to provide engineering services in the scientific and technological field for the transport and distribution of information. It is concluded that efficient professional performance requires that education in the pre-degree stage in the Army training schools implement appropriate laboratories using instructional techniques, software tools, intelligent telecommunications systems and remote computer services using the Internet. Currently these educational services have limitations in the training centers of the Army in our country.
