Abstract
A study to investigate the magnetic anisotropy in granular cobalt-copper alloys was presented. The X-band ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) spectra of granular Co5Cu95 ribbons was used as cast and heat treated as a function of temperature to study their magnetic and structural properties. The results obtained indicated a large influence of the surface magnetic anisotropy in the smaller grains and also on the behavior of the resonance field and linewidth.
