Abstract
Statistical characterization of the magnetization processes in two-dimensional networks of single-domain ferromagnetic particles was discussed. The main reason for the compatibility with classical Preisach model (CPM) which is given by the dependence of the correlation factor on the magnetic state of the system was also discussed. The statistical method is suggested to be an important tool in characterizing various models used for the simulation of the magnetization process in structured materials. It was suggested that the method allows developments in the characterization of the stability of the magnetic states which is an important factor for a recording medium.
