The Takiwasi Center is a therapeutic community unique in its kind for the integration of psychotherapy and modern medicine with the use of practices derived from Traditional Amazonian Medicine (TAM). The central and innovative axis is the therapeutic use of medicinal plants with psychosomatic effects on the individual, in ritual sessions or in a context of isolation commonly called diet. The main objective of this work is to describe: the natural medicines used; the sociodemographic profile of the users; the accompaniment in the process of integration of the ritual ceremonies of Ayahuasca.
