Abstract
Currently, the seismic design for substations is an important factor for reliability and availability of the power system [21], the bushings porcelain are important components of power supply system that have experienced damage during past earthquakes, on the other hand the reactor core and components should consider a complete dynamic and structural analysis. Currently, the analysis have 2 main international standards: IEEE-693-2005, and ETG-1020 or ETG-A.0.20, they use the frequency domain (spectrum) or in the time domain. In Perú the Andean mountain range is the main cause of earthquakes. In the latter case, an earthquake record is required as an input, whereas frequency-based analysis simply requires a response spectrum to determine the loading at each frequency. Many oil-filled reactors and their equipment should be calculated with a dynamic analysis approach [22]. Nevertheless, the reactor has historically been analyzed using the static-analysis approach. Reactor's tanks have been built of structural steel, and they're filled with insulating oil [23], in a massive core and oil assembly. In the research, a comparison of the standards and an improvement in the design of power reactors to avoid faults of seismic origin is developed, the new The case study has been developed in a substation over the 4500 m over the sea (mosl), in a substation located in the Andean mountain.
