Abstract
The purpose of this study was to characterize the behavior of the manager as a leader, from a strategic vision. The research is of a theoretical documentary and / or bibliographical nature. The results indicate that the manager’s behavior has characteristics that place them as leaders in their areas, managing technical and human skills in certain processes, this based on their knowledge and experience. All manager-leaders must be in constant interaction with their staff, sensitize them and encourage them to work effectively, thus achieving cooperation within the team they lead. As a final reflection, in every organization, management demands increase at different levels of the organization every day, and in these scenarios, the managerial behavior of the leader has become increasingly difficult, being desirable and necessary for the proper functioning of organizations. Undertake actions aimed at achieving the objectives set in a climate of integration of the different sectors and elements to create conditions conducive to success. Any action will depend on specific factors and functions.
