Abstract
Modern applications using the Internet of Things (IoT) concept utilize Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN) for mutual communication between various types of sensor modules. Therefore, more robust and betterperforming technologies for the proper functioning of these networks are emerging. In this context a WMN is constructed using STMicroelectronics SPSGRF transceiver, operating at the frequency of 868 MHz, and its performance is evaluated through established metrics such as reception signal strength (RSS) and packet delivery rate (PDR), to denote robustness and signal quality transmitted by these transceivers.
