Abstract
In this article, a structure of Vivaldi antennas for a Ground Penetrating Radar(GPR) in the VHF band is analyzed through different modifications on four antennas using different resonators to obtain the model where coupling is small as possible. A design is obtained with the best performance of isolation between two adjacent elements of the antenna structure in order to ensure that reflected power from the transmitter will not deteriorate components of the receiver at one specific height of the module above arid soil. The GPR with dual polarization will be used for archaeological exploration in the coast of Peru where the ground is mostly sandy.
