    El crecimiento del número de organizaciones criminales y su complejidad, en la variedad conceptual, las implicancias teóricas y sus desafíos empíricos, han dificultado a los investigadores la generación de suficientes teorías, estudios de causas y escalas que permitan una categorización y explicación de sus fenómenos. La caracterización de estas organizaciones y el abordaje de su definición resultan complejos tanto por la diversidad de sus impactos sociales como por lo frondoso de las áreas temáticas que la abordan. Este estudio muestra las tendencias de investigación y estudio de las organizaciones criminales mediante la realización de una revisión sistemática de literatura de los años 2022 y 2023, utilizando el método PRISMA y explorando las tendencias actuales en la investigación académica y producción bibliográfica sobre el tema.

    Development of Human Papillomavirus Type 16 Associated Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Scrotum in a Patient with Darier's Disease Treated with Systemic Isotretinoin

    In contrast to squamous cell carcinoma of the penis, scrotal carcinoma has historically been associated with exposure to environmental or industrial carcinogens and has only rarely been correlated with human papillomavirus. We report on a patient with squamous cell carcinoma of the scrotum in which human papillomavirus type 16 was integrated into the tumor cell genome, suggesting a causal role of human papillomavirus in the development of squamous cell carcinoma of the scrotum. Other unique features of our case include the presence of Darier's disease, an uncommon genodermatosis, and treatment with oral retinoids, which have prophylactic value in the prevention of cutaneous malignancies. © 1995 American Urological Association, Inc.

    Simultaneous determination of cadaverine and putrescine using a disposable monoamine oxidase based biosensor

    The selective and simultaneous amperometric determination of putrescine (Put) and cadaverine (Cad) has been carried out using a novel design of screen-printed carbon electrode (SPCE) with two working electrodes connected in array mode. A mixture of 3% of tetrathiafulvalene (TTF), as mediator, and carbon ink was used for the construction of the screen-printed working electrode. The employment of different amounts of monoamine oxidase (MAO) enzyme on these modified TTF/SPCEs and the use of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) allowed performing the simultaneous determination of both analytes. The amperometric detection has been performed by measuring the oxidation current of the mediator at a potential of+250 mV vs. screen-printed Ag/AgCl reference electrode. A linear response in the Cad concentration range from 19.6 till 107.1 μM and from 9.9 till 74.1 μM for Put was obtained at the MAO/AuNPs/TTF/SPCE biosensor. This device showed a capability of detection of 9.9 and 19.9±0.9 μM (n=4 α=β=0.05) and a precision of 4.9% and 10.3% in terms of relative standard deviation for Put and Cad, respectively. The developed biosensor was successfully applied to the simultaneous determination of Put and Cad in octopus samples. © 2013 Elsevier B.V.

    Iterated local search heuristics for minimizing total completion time in permutation and non-permutation flow shops

    We study the improvement of non-permutation over permutation schedules in flow shops when minimizing the total completion time. We solve both problems by a two-phase heuristic. The first phase uses an iterated local search to find a good permutation schedule. The second phase explores non-permutation schedules using an effective insertion neighborhood, that permits to anticipate or delay a job when passing from one machine to the next. In computational experiments we show that both phases yield state-of-the-art results. We find that allowing non-permutation schedules can reduce the total completion considerably with a moderate extra effort, and without increasing the buffer size needed during processing. We conclude that nonpermutation schedules can be viable alternative to permutation schedules in flow shops.
